Ilan partners with our founders to shape how they tell their story to the world. He's spent over a decade helping startups, from seed stage through acquisition, find clarity and create belief around what they're building.
Before joining Uncork, Ilan spent more than a decade in communications, brand and product marketing at B2B startups. At Segment, he joined around 200 people and ran comms all the way through the company's $3.2 billion acquisition from Twilio, doing brand work along the way. At Attio, he was an early marketing hire who wore multiple hats, shaping the narrative ahead of its public launch, then running product marketing and comms as the company scaled. Earlier, he got his start on the agency side, working with some of the biggest names in enterprise software, including Salesforce.
Ilan has his B.A. in History from UC Berkeley, which might explain why he ended up spending his career helping companies figure out their story.
Outside of Uncork, Ilan is a proud dad who loves spending time with his family, traveling and reading. He's also a long-time flamenco guitar player.
