Whitney “Whit” Bouck has spent her career turning ambitious ideas into enduring companies. Her passion lies in helping B2B software companies scale, grow, and navigate their most pivotal moments. As Board Partner and Go-to-Market Advisor at Uncork Capital, Whit works shoulder-to-shoulder with founders, helping them craft strategy, sharpen execution, and scale sustainably. She brings a deep conviction that the best companies are built through partnership — where clarity, empathy, and accountability drive both growth and culture.
With more than three decades of experience leading go-to-market strategy across startups and global enterprises, Whitney has built a career helping companies scale, lead markets, and reach transformative outcomes. As COO at HelloSign, she led the company through its $230M acquisition by Dropbox. At Box, she built and scaled the enterprise business as General Manager and CMO. Before that, she held senior leadership roles at EMC and Documentum. Throughout her career, she’s facilitated three IPOs, two spin-offs, 15 acquisitions, and three successful company sales.
She serves on the boards of Writer, Crossbeam, Fountain, Trengo, Mutiny, PlayPlay and BlueOcean, and advises a portfolio of high-growth startups redefining the future of work and software. She has been recognized as one of the Top 40 Women in Revenue and one of the World’s 100 Most Innovative CMOs. Whit has been named a Silicon Valley Woman of Influence (2009) and appeared in the Top 40 Under 40 (2003).
Whit earned her BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
Outside of Uncork, Whit splits her time between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe, where you can find her skiing, hiking, or experimenting with new recipes for her food blog, Whit’s Kitchen.
